Can I print labels from Shopify?

Published October 3, 2026

Answer

Yes. Export your products from Shopify as a CSV file and import the file in Label LIVE, or let a sync app keep a Google Sheet updated from Shopify and connect that sheet as your data source.

Export your products from Shopify admin as a CSV file, then open Label LIVE on your Mac, go to the Data tab, choose Excel or CSV and pick the file. Every column becomes a label variable, so your product titles, SKUs and barcodes fill the label, and each row prints as its own unique label, thousands at a time.

Shopify's free Retail Barcode Labels app covers simple barcode labels on DYMO and some Zebra and Avery sizes, but it only does Code 128 barcodes, fixed label sizes with no custom or continuous rolls, and manual per-variant selection, so exporting the CSV gets you real design freedom.

If you add products often, let another tool keep a Google Sheet in sync with Shopify (a Shopify app such as Google Sheets Sync, or Shopify Flow for simple events), then connect that sheet to Label LIVE once. In the Data tab choose Shared, paste the sheet's share link, and press Reload Now whenever you want the latest rows, no re-exporting. That live connection needs Label LIVE version 4.3 or later.
